To maintain a professional, inclusive, and competitive environment, all participants are required to adhere to the following rules and guidelines throughout HackNova.

Team Rules

 

  • Each team must consist of 4 members.
  • Participants can form teams prior to the event or on the day of the hackathon.
  • All team members must be officially registered.
  • Cross-disciplinary teams are encouraged to promote diverse ideas and innovation.

    Submission Rules

    • All projects must be developed during the hackathon duration.
    • Submissions must include:
      • Project description
      • Source code (GitHub or similar)
      • Demo video or live prototype (if applicable)
    • All submissions must be completed before the official deadline.
    • Late entries will not be considered for evaluation.

    Code of Conduct

     

    • Participants must maintain professional and respectful behavior at all times.
    • Any form of harassment, discrimination, or misconduct will lead to disqualification.
    • Collaboration is encouraged, but integrity must be maintained.
    • Follow all instructions provided by organizers and mentors.

    Plagiarism Policy

     

    • All projects must be original work created during the hackathon.
    • Use of open-source libraries and APIs is allowed, but must be properly credited.
    • Copying existing projects or submitting pre-built solutions is strictly prohibited.
    • Any violation will result in immediate disqualification.
